First Video!!!
Hi, Just a quick one to let everyone know its still going well and just to prove it heeres a short video of myself giving it some stick on the country roads.
Engine YZF-R1 998cc, DOHC 5v/cylinder, mikuni fuel injected engine, 40mm dual valve TB's, multiplate wet clutch, Pipercross air filter, Power Commander 3 USB, Stainless steel manifold with 4 to 1 exhaust
Drivetrain 6 - speed sequential paddle shift, Sierra 3.38 standard diff and push in driveshafts, Custom balanced propshaft.
Chassis Round tubing 16 and 18 gauge fully powder coated black, RAC MSA roll bar.
Front Suspension MNR fabricated Cortina Uprights, Inboard Pushrods, Aluminium Hubs, Protech Dampers and Springs, double wishbones with rose joints, Fully polybushed.
Rear Suspension Sierra Hubs with Protech Dampers and Springs, double wishbones, Fully polybushed and rose jointed ends.
Brakes Front - Cortina M16 Wilwood powerlite 4 pot calipers, wilwood performance pads and solid, drilled and grooved 265x9mm discs. Rear - Sierra calipers with handbrake cables, Ferodo pads and solid discs all with new 5.1 brake fluid, coppe pipes, cables, Goodridge braided hoses and 0.625 and 0.7 Comp Brake master cylinders.
Wheels 15 inch Team Dynamic Prorace 1.2's(et23, pcd 4x108, 7"wide)alloys in black with 195/50/15 Toyo R888 tyres.
Body Orange body with black front wheel covers and orange rears with carbon splash guards. Carbon front lights and carbon surround circular lights. Finished with Yamaha original emblem's.
Interior Carbon fibre panels, MNR black single piece transmission cover, Black GRP race seats, 4 point Sabelt harnesses, OMP Trecento steering wheel, R1 digital clocks and Racetech mirrors, Motorsport silver push button switches with smiths gauges.
Performance 152bhp from stock engine (possibly more after mapped) Weigth - 400kg or less 380bhp per tonne (estimated) 0-60 in 3.5 seconds (estimated) 1/4 mile 13 seconds (estimated) Max speed 140mph (estimated)
